Running a website with a proper CMS (content management system) is essential for sustaining any online business. If you plan on doing the “bare bones” routine, you may as well opt for any one of the subpar blogging platforms. Wordpress offers you a better option in which to create your own personal website, making it comfortable for anyone to publish their favorite content on the internet with ease. Most of the other platforms do not make it easy for you to publish content, from trying to find your way to getting hands on the right HTML codes to learning how to upload images or video clips on to your website. But with Wordpress, you have a complete CMS solution that allows you to quickly, easily add/edit pages or posts, add images and video clips, and much more.
You don’t even need to know anything about HTML to develop and manage blog platforms. Fast-growing WordPress has become an open source for many developers to create and post best publications on online. Being both a powerful and extraordinary blog platform, WordPress offers you many applications like plugin and a host of other features. Worldpress is extremely helpful for small business entrepreneurs or corporate website owners to build a profitable online business, personal blogs and an online magazine. Without being a programming expert, you can use SEO friendly Wordpress to optimize your online business and enable your website to be easily found by search engines. Even professional programmers use Wordpress to advance their expertise.
WordPress as a CMS offers you a personal URL and enables you to multi-task, allowing you to do much more when it comes to online marketing, need I say more? With excellent HTML editing skills, you can enhance the appearance and site performance. You can build your site and get to save some money by taking advantage of the fact that the Internet is flooded with thousands of free WordPress themes.
Use of search engine friendly ‘Categories’ is another important feature of Wordpress that enables you to improve and build the structure of your blog site both for search engines and human visitors. Whenever you add your blog posts, you can choose the categories so that the Wordpress automatically archives your past posts and sorts them by month, date as well as by category. A visitor interested in a particular category can instantly find your post under that tab/category, without muddling their way through the archives to locate them.
The more you start using Wordpress, the more you will love it and the more you’ll realize that it’s not just for blogging. Wordpress is the best CMS solution available! What is more, Wordpress offers some of the salient features that even Blogger does not support. You can set up your Wordpress site to ping blog feeds and RSS directories each and every time when you make a new post. As you can automatically develop quick back links with this powerful feature, you end up getting huge traffic for your blog.
It is a challenging task even for the professional experts to build a website, get it indexed with the major search engines and win back links to improve listings and get traffic. A Wordpress blog does all that, and much more automatically.

Thanks! Excellent post!
Wordpress is without a doubt one of the best applications to for building websites. I’m 68 years old and don’t know a single line of HTML, but I can build a website with Wordpress (and have been doing so for the past 4 years with ME Webhost as my web host!)
Barbie´s last blog ..Mexico Retire in Luxury Newsletters from Barbie, Safety Reminders
I recently created a blog using Wordpress – I found it relatively easy to use – the only problem is that despite specifically submitting to Google it hasn’t been picked up in Google alerts on the subject, film actress Doris Day. I’ve entered the keywords so I don’t understand why it hasn’t been noticed. Any tips or suggestions anyone?

Hi, Bryan:
I read your comments regarding not getting picked up in google yet… here are some suggestions:
1) Use TubeMogul to distribute a video that you made. In the vid description field, reference your site. Be absolutely sure you post to MetaCafe.com and YouTube.com.
2) Make sure in your settings> writing that you’re pinging these services (copy and paste)

3.) Make sure you have a facebook page under the same name as your blog — and upload some photos to get started.
4.) Lastly make sure you have a Twitter account — again under the name of your blog — and post on it whenever you update your blog.
Hope this helps.
